SKYWARN Storm Spotter Training – April 5th, 2025

The 2025 Weather Spotter Training is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at the LARC Clubhouse (4420 NW 41st St, Lincoln). Doors will open at 8:00 a.m., with the first presentation scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the NWS training and testing portion will not be taking place. Those credentialed in 2022 will still be recognized. The rest of the program will continue as planned. Be sure to come and get the latest updates.

Schedule:

  • 08:00 – Doors open for ARES updates & photos
  • 11:00 – K9UAV NE ARES Website
  • 11:15 – K0RPT LARC Program
  • 12:30 – End

We continue to issue Lancaster County Emergency Management ID Cards and will
take photos on training day. Please bring your driver’s license as you complete your
registration. Your data will be stored securely.

The 2025 storm spotter packets are being updated and will be emailed to all
credentialed spotters in Lancaster County who have completed the ARES registration
and ID card processes.

When storms hit, we are some of the first volunteers to respond. Get involved today.
